It is so calm and soft! I like it how it progresses in different stages and changes slowly. And it is very long, 9 minutes! But no matter its length, I have to say that I could be listening to it in a loop. My favorite part is at 6:22.

selpi-ceina-leyna responds:

It is a fact that it advances through multiple stages, each differing from others. This is particularly due to the large time period in which it was made, namely, the composition and refinement of each smaller part was spread along a time period of one year, with work sessions well separated from each other.
For the specific part at 6:22 I have to give credit to my friend, a ksxkx player, for playing this short melody while exercising on the instrument, which drove me to think that it had to fit perfectly in this song, and indeed it did fit, causing me from that day to refer to that part as "Aurora's medley". I may sound extreme, but I believe that without it, the song would probably be half its current worth.

I liked it very much. It's nice to hear how the sound effects bind on the rhythm: there are some pieces of ambient rain sound that last exactly a measure, like till 1:45, where they intentionally stop, to let the music give the focus on the beat that starts becoming lively. It's generally very nice, but if you listen it a couple of times, you can notice some carefully worked details like that.

Of course you couldn't help but placing another big powerful emotional solo. :) You actually enjoy this, don't you? :)
Just a quick note on this last one: while in the solo, you use two successive instruments, a square-like synth, and a guitar and/or its harmonics based one. The soft spot is, that they sound a bit like each other, and the first time I heard it, a thought passed "that solo lasted a bit longer than usual, didn't it?", it was just that I didn't feel the change at 2:12 strong enough to shift the sound's mood (expected something like if the square and the guitar are 'talking' to each other, and the square says something, and the guitar 'answers', instead here it simply 'confirms' what the square said). However after listening it again I felt it wasn't a real problem.

It's a shame I couldn't imagine easily of a night storm, because most storms here happen during the day. But after getting the hang of parts like 1:10, I got the feeling, remembered a recent night storm too. (But that one was, erm, quite violent in comparison with the song. Anyway :B)

Thanks again for this nice song. Sincerely, old fan (I've downloaded them all to have something to listen to while I'm reading. Yes, yes, Tiekondyrogha, Animation warrior theme, Darktronics, all, they're not bad, they were good - don't you ever say they were bad! Not one of them!) Live well and always be giving us beautiful songs to listen to.

I'm very happy to hear your first song after so much time. First of all a big thank you from all of us, now we 're sure you are here with us. You see, it is believed that music is a form of communication...
About the song? Well, I have to admit that playing it with my cheap laptop speakers and my cheap smartphone speaker caused loss of lots of many beautiful yet delicate parts, like 0:48-1:02, and made me say, 'no way, it has to be nicer than that'. But after listening it from my AKG DJ headphones... 'HA! I KNEW it!!!' Yeah, it's a nice song indeed... If only it was just a tad longer... ah but never mind, I'm sure you were in a hurry to give it to us as soon as possible!
About the emotional part? Well, I can only make a guess... you probably made the part with the harmonics (i.e. like till 0:45) before you left. I am making this guess 'cause I think that this part has similar mood with Controlled Chaos, Unfinished Beat, Steven (your last songs... ah... lonely darkness feeling...). I'm not much sure about the rest.
Once again, thank you for this brilliant song.

Work, work... work.
